How Correra's Driving School Began
Correra's Driving School was founded by James in Caldicot, South Wales, with a single, clear purpose: to make learning to drive a genuinely positive, confidence-building experience for every learner who gets in the car.
Having witnessed first-hand how the wrong teaching approach can make the process stressful and unnecessarily difficult, James set out to build a driving school rooted in patience, structure and genuine care for every pupil's progress. From day one, the focus has been on producing safe, confident drivers for life – not just ticking boxes to pass a test.
What started as a one-instructor operation in Caldicot has grown, covering communities across South Wales and beyond – from Chepstow and Magor to Salisbury and Andover – with over 200 pupils having passed their driving test through Correra's. The values that founded the school remain at the heart of everything we do.
